Hotcake V2

Crowther Audio has continuously refined the Hotcake since 1977, with the V2 representing the latest evolution. Paul Crowther still handmakes each unit in New Zealand.

The Hotcake V2 adds the +Cream switch (accessible externally rather than internally) for smoother overdrive with less edge at distortion onset. The XLF (Extended Low Frequency) switch provides enhanced low-end for bass and instruments requiring better bass representation.

Maintaining the legendary op-amp clipping design that leaves bass undistorted, the V2 offers expanded versatility while preserving the character that made the original a classic for nearly 50 years.
