Damnation Audio specializes in heavy bass effects designed for doom, sludge, and extreme low-end applications. The MBD series represents their flagship bass distortion line, beloved by bassists in heavy genres.

The MBD (MOSFET Bass Distortion) features the same bass-loving distortion circuit as the original MBD-1 with customer-requested enhancements. The heart of the pedal uses MOSFET transistors for a dynamic, tube-like response that works exceptionally well with bass frequencies.

Controls include Drive, Volume, and a tilt-style Tone control centered around 600Hz for the distortion channel. The Depth control adjusts low end in the distortion - settings below noon tighten up the sound for drop-tuned basses, while higher settings add mass for standard tuning. Requires 9V DC only.
