Damnation Audio specializes in heavy bass effects designed for doom, sludge, and extreme low-end applications. The MBD3 is the latest evolution of their acclaimed MOSFET Bass Distortion series.

The MBD3 enhances the original MBD circuit with a boost footswitch providing over 30dB of additional gain and a newly designed contoured clean blend circuit. This parallel clean channel ensures your fundamental bass tone remains intact even at extreme distortion settings.

Controls include Drive, Volume, Tone (tilt-style centered at 600Hz), Boost (adds gain without affecting clean blend), Blend (parallel clean channel level), and Depth (low end injection - lower settings tighten for drop tuning, higher settings fatten the sound). Requires 9V DC center-negative power only.
