The Microtubes B3K features a hybrid JFET/CMOS gain circuit design. The Grunt switch adds low-end saturation while the Attack switch provides additional high-frequency bite. This combination covers everything from subtle warmth to aggressive modern distortion.
Controls include Level, Drive, Blend, plus Grunt and Attack toggle switches. The circuit responds dynamically to playing, cleaning up with lighter touch and saturating with aggressive attack. A foundational pedal in countless professional bass rigs.
