Darkglass Electronics, founded in Finland in 2009, has become the premier name in modern bass distortion and preamps. The B7K adds comprehensive EQ and DI capabilities to the B3K circuit.

The Microtubes B7K combines the hybrid JFET/CMOS gain circuit of the B3K with a four-band EQ (Low: 100Hz, Low Mid: 1kHz, Hi Mid: 2.8kHz, Treble: 5kHz) and balanced XLR direct output. This makes it a complete preamp solution.

The direct output provides a balanced version of the 1/4" output for running into PAs or studio mixing consoles. Boost and Attack switches add bite and volume. Current draw: 20mA, requires 9V DC center-negative.
