Torn's Peaker (125B)
Silicon fuzz with crunchy overdrive character in larger 125B enclosure, ideal for shoegaze and stoner metal.
Devi Ever has been building boutique guitar pedals by hand since 2003, creating some of the most sought-after fuzz tones used by artists like My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails, and Wilco.
The Torn's Peaker (the name is a spoonerism of 'Torn Speaker') is a silicon-based fuzz that leans toward heavy overdrive territory. Where the Soda Meiser delivers smooth, large fuzz tones, Torn's Peaker is its crunchy equivalent - equally suited for metal as heavy classic rock. The circuit evokes the borderline-abrasive silicon fuzzes of the '70s and '80s.
This 125B version houses the circuit in a larger enclosure. Controls include Volume (with massive gain on tap) and Texture, which sweeps from clangy ice-pick highs to heavy bottom end. Known for wall-of-fuzz sustain that remains interactive with your guitar's volume control, dialing down to gritty crunch. An excellent addition to shoegaze, psych rock, or stoner metal rigs.
