Soda Meiser
Organic fuzz ranging from smooth muff tones to disharmonic chaos, with optional Chaos switch.
Devi Ever has been building boutique guitar pedals by hand since 2003, creating some of the most sought-after fuzz tones used by artists like My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails, and Wilco.
The Soda Meiser is an organic-sounding fuzz capable of smooth, round tones at lower gain and fierce, disharmonic bliss at higher settings. The extraordinary range on the Zazz (gain) knob spans from light muff-ish tones to full-on chaotic fuzz reminiscent of the Ampeg Scrambler. Comparisons to Smashing Pumpkins and Jeff Buckley tones are common.
Controls include Volume and Zazz, with current models featuring a Chaos switch that pushes the pedal further into muff territory for even more extreme textures. Works well with bass, maintaining low-end presence. Notable users include Nels Cline, MGMT, Nine Inch Nails, Tame Impala, and Silversun Pickups.
