DigiTech
Dirty Robot
Synth
Stereo synth pedal with analog and vocal formant modes for guitar and bass.
DigiTech, founded in 1984 in Utah, pioneered digital effects processing and became synonymous with pitch-shifting through the Whammy series introduced in 1989.
The Dirty Robot transforms guitar or bass into synthesizer-like tones without special pickups. Two voice modes provide classic analog synth sweeps and vocal formant vocoder effects.
Controls include Start, Stop, Sensitivity, Drift, and Mix for shaping filter behavior. Stereo inputs and outputs, true bypass, and high-voltage operation deliver studio-quality synth sounds. Draws 75mA at 9V.
