DigiTech, founded in 1984 in Utah, pioneered digital effects processing and became synonymous with pitch-shifting through the Whammy series introduced in 1989.

The FreqOut creates natural-sounding feedback harmonics at any volume level, eliminating the need to stand in front of a loud amp. Seven harmonic types range from sub-octave to 5th above for musical feedback on demand.

Onset control sets how quickly feedback builds, while Gain adjusts sensitivity. Momentary footswitch allows precise control over when feedback occurs. True bypass when effect is off. Compact enclosure draws 235mA at 9V.
