DigiTech, founded in 1984 in Utah, pioneered digital effects processing and became synonymous with pitch-shifting through the Whammy series introduced in 1989.

The Drop lets you instantly lower your tuning without retuning your guitar. Nine positions cover semitone drops from 1-7, plus octave down and octave-down-plus-dry for thick layered sounds.

Polyphonic tracking handles full chords cleanly. Momentary switching enables quick pitch dives, while latching mode keeps the drop engaged. True bypass and compact enclosure make it pedalboard-friendly. 24-bit conversion at 44.1kHz.
