DigiTech, founded in 1984 in Utah, pioneered digital effects processing and became synonymous with pitch-shifting through the Whammy series introduced in 1989.
The MonoNeon Signature Whammy builds on the Whammy 5 with features designed for bassist MonoNeon's experimental style. The new Hypersonic mode sweeps through three full octaves, and Octave Blend mixes octave effects with dry signal.
All classic Whammy modes remain—dive bombs, harmonies, detune—plus new 4th/5th harmony combinations. Switchable Classic/Chords algorithms handle single notes or full chords. The colorful finish reflects MonoNeon's vibrant artistic identity.
