Badder Monkey

DOD's Badder Monkey takes the classic Tube Screamer topology and adds enhanced EQ flexibility that the original lacked. Where most TS-style pedals have a single Tone knob, the Badder Monkey provides independent Bass and Treble controls.

The circuit maintains the mid-hump character that makes Tube Screamers so popular for tightening up high-gain amps, but the two-band EQ lets you dial in exactly how much low end you want to retain or cut. This makes it equally useful for bass players as for guitarists.
