Gonkulator Ringmod

The DOD Gonkulator combines ring modulation with onboard distortion to create metallic, dissonant textures unlike any other pedal. Ring modulators multiply your guitar signal with an internal oscillator, producing sum-and-difference frequencies that sound alien and mechanical.

The reissued Gonkulator features five controls: Frequency sets the internal oscillator pitch, Ring adjusts the amount of ring modulation, Distortion adds grit independently, Gain controls input level, and Output sets the final volume. This flexibility lets you blend subtle metallic shimmer with your dry signal or go full robot-apocalypse.

The true bypass switching and modern 9V DC jack improve on the original's buffered bypass. Players use the Gonkulator for experimental soundscapes, industrial music, or adding occasional chaos to otherwise conventional pedalboards.
