Overdrive Preamp FX50

The DOD Overdrive Preamp FX50 was part of DOD's affordable FX series that brought quality effects to budget-conscious players throughout the 1980s and 90s. It carries the DNA of the 250 circuit into the FX series format.

The FX50 features the classic three-knob layout: Level, Tone, and Gain. The op-amp clipping circuit produces smooth overdrive that can range from subtle grit to more aggressive drive depending on the gain setting. The Tone control provides additional flexibility the original 250 lacked.

These vintage FX-series pedals have developed a cult following for their straightforward design and reliable construction. While not as collectible as the original 250, the FX50 delivers the essential DOD overdrive character at vintage prices.
