Kinematic

Dreadbox is a Greek synthesizer manufacturer that brings modular sensibility to guitar pedals. The Kinematic combines VCA-based compression with envelope filtering and overdrive in one Eurorack-compatible unit.

The VCA compressor offers extreme compression ratios with up to 18dB of boost. The envelope filter section includes low-pass filtering with adjustable curve. A band boost filter shapes the frequency response while a post-diode overdrive circuit adds grit when pushed.

Three CV patch points on 3.5mm jacks enable integration with Eurorack and patchable synths. CMOS buffered bypass, 85mA current draw, and standard 9V center-negative power. Works equally well for guitar, bass, and synthesizers.
