Stamme[n] v4
Micro-looper, time stretcher, glitch delay, tape simulator, sustainer, and reverb in one.
Drolo is a Belgian boutique pedal maker founded by David Rolo. The Stammen originated from collaboration with Kent Sommer, evolving through many iterations into a multi-function sampling and looping device.
Eight operation modes span two groups. Sample looping modes offer wet-only, wet-and-dry, and momentary variations. Hold/freeze modes include swell (fade in/out), pitch (tape-style detuning), filter (sweeping LP/HP), and stutter (random step tremolo) applied to held or dry signal.
Each mode uses independent wet and dry volume controls with unity at noon and boost/cut range. The tap tempo sets sample size. From glitch stutters to infinite sustain to tape-manipulation effects, the Stammen covers vast sonic territory.
