Trainers TS-100
Traynor TS-100 solid-state preamp in a pedal, running at +/-15V with 3-band EQ.
Drunk Beaver is a Polish pedal company founded by Ukrainian builder Vitalii Bobrov, known for capturing amp preamp circuits in pedal format.
The Trainer TS-100 replicates the exact preamp schematic from the Traynor TS-100 solid-state amplifier. An internal charge pump boosts the 9V input to +/-15V (approximately 30V amplitude) for the headroom and dynamic range of the original amp circuit. Do not power above 9V or the electronics will be damaged.
Gain controls drive level, a 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) shapes the tone, and Master sets the output. Works in front of an amp or directly into a power amp section via the effects loop return. Delivers the Traynor's unique distortion texture with full frequency control. Draws 50mA from 9V DC center-negative.
