Tri-logic Bass Preamp III

E.W.S. (Engineering Work Store) released the original Tri-Logic Bass Preamp in 2009 and 'created a huge fan base from many musicians in all sorts of bass communities.' The Tri-Logic III (2015) perfected the formula.

All three EQ bands now have frequency options: Bass (±15dB, switchable 40Hz/80Hz), Mid (±10dB, sweepable 250Hz-3kHz), and Treble (±15dB, switchable 4kHz/8kHz). Two gain modes: Normal for clean boost up to +18dB, or Hi Gain with compression at +26dB. Internal dipswitch handles hot active pickups.

The hallmark is transparency. Users describe it as 'clear, sweet, dynamic sound that was not clinical; a good tool for interpreting your bass's natural sound.' Run at 18V for even more headroom.

True bypass. The preamp bass players trust when they need to shape their tone without coloring it.
