Cloven Hoof

EarthQuaker Devices created the Cloven Hoof by replacing the Hoof's germanium transistors with specially selected silicon. The result has four times the gain range.

The Fuzz control goes from clean to complete destruction. Level, Tone, and Shift controls remain, re-voiced for the silicon circuit's heavier low end. Carbon comp resistors add vintage character to the aggressive silicon voicing.

Silicon transistors mean consistent performance in hot and cold venues. Same Muff-inspired architecture as the Hoof, but meaner and more stable.
