EarthQuaker Devices spent two years developing the Erupter to deliver what they consider the ultimate classic fuzz tone. One control handles everything.

The Bias knob has a center detent at the 'perfect' setting. Turn left for spongy, gated tones with sag. Turn right for stiffer response with more harmonics and sustain. Volume and gain are fixed at optimal levels.

Buffered input means it plays well anywhere in your chain, even after wah pedals. NOS silicon transistors are hand-matched. Carbon comp resistors add vintage character.

For players who want great fuzz without fiddling. Find the sweet spot and forget about it.
