The signal gets modulated and filtered in ways that add wobble, warble, and texture. Think worn cassette tape rather than digital clarity. Delay and reverb combine into washed-out, nostalgic ambience.

Controls shape the amount of degradation and modulation. Higher settings create more obvious pitch instability and filter movement. True bypass via relay switching.
