Electro-Harmonix modified the Big Muff circuit specifically for bass guitar. The Bass Big Muff retains low frequencies that the guitar version filters out.

A Blend control mixes clean bass signal with the fuzzed signal. This maintains low-end definition even with heavy fuzz. Sustain and Tone controls work like the standard Muff. Dry output available for parallel processing.
