Doom 2

DOOM 2 is an original fuzz circuit that transforms your input into something resembling a vintage synthesizer's sawtooth wave. Unlike most fuzz circuits, it responds to playing dynamics and retains note definition across the frequency range.

Two mode switches define the character: "You're" delivers the classic DOOM sound with strong upper harmonics, mid-focus, and octavia/ring modulator effects up the neck; "Your" offers a stronger fundamental with more low end and traditional fuzz response. The Bass/Clean switch either blends full-range clean signal or uses an active crossover to mix only clean lows with the fuzz.

The 3-band EQ with variable mid control replaced the original's Shape switch, allowing precise placement in any mix. Full-range output works on any instrument, though the standard version is optimized for bass and synth.
