Germanium Big Muff Pi

Electro-Harmonix built a Big Muff using germanium transistors instead of silicon. The result is warmer and more vintage-sounding.

Germanium transistors were used in the earliest fuzzes before silicon became standard. They're softer, more touch-sensitive, and warmer. The Big Muff circuit adapted to germanium produces smoother saturation.

Bias and Volts controls let you adjust the germanium character. Temperature-sensitive like all germanium circuits. True bypass.
