Micro Synth
Guitar synthesizer with octave, square wave, and filter sections. 1970s synth sounds.
Electro-Harmonix introduced the Micro Synth in the late 1970s. All-analog guitar synthesizer using suboctave, square wave, and filter.
Four voices: Guitar (dry), Sub Octave (one below), Octave (one above), and Square Wave (aggressive synth tone). Sliders control the mix. Attack Delay creates swelling sounds. Resonance and Start/Stop Freq sliders shape the filter sweep.
Not a digital modeler. The Micro Synth creates synth sounds through analog processing of your guitar signal. Monophonic tracking like all analog synths.
The original all-analog guitar synthesizer, still in production.
