Ravish Sitar

Electro-Harmonix designed the Ravish Sitar to recreate sitar sounds from a standard guitar. Sympathetic string resonance and drone voices included.

The circuit models the sitar's buzzing bridge (called jawari) and adds sympathetic string resonance that responds to your playing. Drone voices hold continuously while you play melodic lines over them.

Polyphonic tracking applies the sitar processing to chords. Timbre control adjusts the buzzing character. Not a sample playback device - it processes your actual playing.
