Model feT

Electronic Audio Experiments designed the Model feT to capture the massive, crushing sound of the Sunn Model T amplifier. The original amp defined doom metal and has been chased by heavy bands for decades.

The circuit uses FET transistors to emulate tube saturation, with a three-band EQ voiced to match the Model T's characteristic low-end weight and grinding midrange. The Bass control goes deep enough to rattle foundations.

Gain ranges from warm clean boost to full preamp saturation. At higher settings the circuit compresses and sustains like a cranked tube amp. Works as a standalone preamp or stacks well with other drives for even more gain.

EAE nailed the Sunn sound in a pedalboard format. Essential for doom, stoner, and sludge players who can't haul vintage amps to every gig.
