Amianto

FTelettronica is an Italian one-man shop in Isola del Liri, founded in 2008. They build faithful clones of rare and discontinued effects, using Alpha pots, Neutrik/Lumberg jacks, and a 2-year warranty.

The Amianto is a clone of the discontinued Human Gear Animato, a bass distortion with an integrated front-end treble booster. Controls are Level, Distortion, Tone (wide-sweep EQ from dark to bright), and Blend (mixes clean signal back in for low-end retention). Sound ranges from gritty overdrive to saturated fuzz with prominent midrange punch. At 9.4mA and 260g, it sips power.

The Blend knob is what makes this work on bass. Full saturation without losing your fundamental. True bypass, powder-coated yellow.
