Dubstep Siren
Full synth voice in a pedal: oscillator, stepped tone generator, envelope, LFO, and CV inputs.
FTelettronica is an Italian one-man shop in Isola del Liri, founded in 2008. They build faithful clones of rare and discontinued effects, using Alpha pots, Neutrik/Lumberg jacks, and a 2-year warranty.
The Dubstep Siren packs a full synth voice into a pedal: main oscillator (50Hz-2kHz), stepped tone generator, AD envelope with repeat function, LFO, and VCA. Pitch Mod switch selects LFO or AD envelope modulation. Steps control adds pitch-quantized drops. External CV and trigger inputs on 3.5mm jacks. 20mA at 9V, 390g in a 126x100mm enclosure.
The Fire button manually triggers the AD sequence. The Repeat function turns the AD into a cycling LFO. Between these and the stepped tone generator, this produces classic dub siren sounds and much weirder territory.
