Fet Amp

FTelettronica is an Italian one-man shop in Isola del Liri, founded in 2008. They build faithful clones of rare and discontinued effects, using Alpha pots, Neutrik/Lumberg jacks, and a 2-year warranty.

The Fet Amp is a FET-based preamp/booster with 26dB maximum gain, a 200Hz low-cut filter rolling off at -6dB/octave, 3.3 megohm input impedance, and 600 ohm output impedance. Draws just 2.5mA. 240g, powder-coated, 117x71mm. True bypass.

The high input impedance preserves pickup resonance, while the low output impedance drives long cables and subsequent pedals without signal loss. The 200Hz low-cut tightens up the bottom end before hitting dirt pedals.
