Inner Peace Optical Compressor

FTelettronica is an Italian one-man shop in Isola del Liri, founded in 2008. They build faithful clones of rare and discontinued effects, using Alpha pots, Neutrik/Lumberg jacks, and a 2-year warranty.

The Inner Peace is an optical compressor using a photocell for natural-sounding gain reduction. Flat EQ response preserves both high and low frequencies. 9.5mA, 212g, 117x71mm, adhesive-on-aluminum. True bypass. Currently out of stock.

Optical compressors have a naturally smooth attack because the photocell responds slower than electronic switching. The result is compression that doesn't clamp down harshly on transients.
