Mixtur Ring Modulator

FTelettronica is an Italian one-man shop in Isola del Liri, founded in 2008. They build faithful clones of rare and discontinued effects, using Alpha pots, Neutrik/Lumberg jacks, and a 2-year warranty.

The Mixtur Ring Modulator requires 18V DC center-negative and draws 200mA, so it needs a dedicated power supply output. At 238g in the 117x71mm format, it's compact for a ring mod. True bypass, adhesive-on-aluminum.

Ring modulators multiply two signals together, creating sum and difference frequencies that produce metallic, bell-like, and inharmonic tones. The 18V rail gives more headroom for cleaner carrier signal generation.
