Sonic Dream Analog Delay
Analog delay with built-in fuzz and modulation. Nine knobs across tone, mod, and delay sections.
FTelettronica is an Italian one-man shop in Isola del Liri, founded in 2008. They build faithful clones of rare and discontinued effects, using Alpha pots, Neutrik/Lumberg jacks, and a 2-year warranty.
The Sonic Dream has three sections: Tone (Fuzz for adding dirt from clean to fuzz, Blend for delay level, Master volume), Modulation (Depth, Rate, Sine/Square waveform selector), and Delay (20-1200ms time, Feedback for repeats, Dry mute). The Fuzz control gradually adds saturation to the delayed signal. 40mA, 384g, 125x105mm, powder-coated. True bypass.
The built-in fuzz on the delay path is unusual. Most delay+dirt combos put distortion before the delay. Here the fuzz degrades the repeats themselves, creating increasingly destroyed echoes.
