Gokko launched in 2018 with a lineup of budget pedals designed in Italy, quickly earning comparisons to Joyo and Caline for punching above their price point. The AC BOX captures the essence of the Vox AC30's Class A circuit, that unmistakable chimey, jangly character that defined British rock from the Beatles to Radiohead.

Six controls make this more preamp than simple drive pedal. Low, Mid, and High shape the three-band EQ, while a Voice knob adds a unique midrange character control. Drive ranges from subtle breakup around 7 o'clock to properly dirty when cranked past 9. Works best run into an effects return or power amp section rather than in front of a preamp.

At its price point, the AC BOX punches above its weight for players who want AC30 flavor without the boutique price tag. The larger enclosure houses all six pots comfortably.
