SBD

The SBD is based on the Sola Sound/Vox Super Beatle Distortion, a classic British fuzz circuit, with practical improvements for modern use.

Four controls: Volume, Fuzz, Mid (active bell-shaped mid boost placed before the fuzz for focus and harmonic emphasis), and Bass (active bass boost near output for low-end). Two hand-selected NOS NPN silicon transistors provide medium-gain fuzz character.

Built-in buffer allows placement anywhere in the signal chain, unlike most fuzz pedals that require direct guitar connection. Transparent with all controls at minimum (volume at ~1 o'clock). Sold out.
