Kult

The Kult tackles the noise problem that plagues high-gain rigs. A single Sensitivity knob sets the threshold at which the gate kicks in, while a two-position switch selects between Hard and Soft modes. Hard cuts the signal quickly and completely for tight metal chugs. Soft applies a more gradual reduction, better for moderate noise in blues and rock setups.

At 30mA current draw, it's one of the lightest loads you can put on a power supply. True bypass means zero tone coloring when the gate is disengaged. The compact mini enclosure (11.2 x 6.4 cm) weighs just 230g.

Center-negative 9V DC or battery powered. Simple and effective for cleaning up noisy signal chains without the complexity or cost of more elaborate noise reduction systems.
