The Salem combines clean boost and overdrive functionality with a treble boost voicing. Three controls cover the essentials: Volume sets output level, Overdrive dials in gain from clean boost through mild breakup, and Treble Boost shapes the high-frequency emphasis.

Useful as a first-in-chain treble boost to push an amp or other drive pedals harder, or as a standalone mild overdrive. The treble boost voicing cuts through dense mixes without adding mud in the low end.
