LastGasp Art Laboratories was founded by Hirofumi Uchino in Tokyo in 1992, with roots in the experimental noise scene. After relocating to Sydney, Australia in 2005, Hiro rebuilt the entire production line from scratch, creating wildly unconventional effects championed by noise and experimental artists worldwide.

The Angelring Clean Boost+ is designed for players who have already dialed in their perfect tone but need additional volume. The pedal boosts the input signal as cleanly as possible, making it ideal for solo boosts or pushing an amp into natural overdrive.

Two controls shape the sound: Level sets overall output, while Gain features 13 positions with the upper range (11-13) entering the 'Heaven' zone where subtle distortion begins to appear. This makes the Angelring equally useful as a transparent boost or as a light overdrive depending on your gain setting.
