ALiX brings Grace Design's studio pedigree to a pedalboard format built for performing acoustic musicians. The circuit derives from their acclaimed m101 studio preamp, using ultra-precision 0.5% thin film resistors in the signal path.

The EQ section provides fixed low and high shelving controls, a parametric midrange spanning 65Hz to 6kHz across two switchable ranges, and a highpass filter that doubles as a notch filter for feedback elimination. Three input impedance settings (330K, 1M, 10M ohm) match the preamp to your pickup's output.

Footswitchable boost adds up to 10dB. Ground-isolated DI output with phase reverse, ground lift, and mic/line level switching. TRS insert for effects. 9V output powers other pedals up to 500mA total. 12V phantom power available for electret mics.
