The RMI Acouswitch Junior is a compact multi-functional preamp designed for acoustic and electric instruments. Two separately controllable high-impedance JFET inputs allow switching between instruments. A 4-band EQ on channel A provides detailed tone shaping.

A serial effects loop, tuner-out with mute function, and built-in clean boost cover stage essentials. The active DI output (XLR) delivers a balanced signal directly to the PA. Discrete JFET input stage with Lehle True Sound Technology and gold-plated relay switching. Internal 18V operation for extra headroom. Runs on 9-15V AC or DC at up to 150mA. Discontinued.
