Design-A-Drive

The Design-A-Drive reimagines overdrive tone shaping with two innovative controls. Edge simultaneously adjusts treble rolloff, high presence cut, and clipping diode aggressiveness for precise bite and brightness control. The six-position Width rotary reshapes midrange response from thin to fat, dictating where the amp gets pushed.

Op-amp-based circuit with clipping diodes delivers low to medium gain. With gain down, plenty of output remains for use as a tone shaper and clean boost. Stacks well with other drives and fuzzes.

Hand-built in Cambridge, UK using low-noise metal film resistors, PET film capacitors, Alpha pots, and Neutrik jacks. Top-mounted jacks. True bypass. 9VDC only (no battery option).
