The Distortion Filter D312A is the second Obsolete Devices limited edition, featuring three rare Soviet-era D312A germanium pulse diodes in asymmetrical clipping configuration. Inspired by MXR Distortion+ and DOD 250 classics.

The midrange-focused filter section (300Hz-900Hz) delivers everything from classic cocked-wah tones to the heavily filtered distortion of bands like Queens of the Stone Age. Frequency sets center point, Depth fine-tunes the boost amount. Impact increases higher up the frequency range.

Asymmetrical germanium clipping provides complex, dynamic breakup with rich harmonic content. Level and Gain plus Frequency and Depth controls.
