The OC201 Preamp is the first in Great Eastern's Obsolete Devices series, limited to just 50 units worldwide. Built around rare Mullard OC201 transistors (the first silicon transistor Mullard made using their germanium methods), each individually tested and selected.
Two-transistor circuit delivers dirty boosts, garage rock tones, and raw textured fuzz. Fine-tuned for significant volume boost capability. Excellent volume knob cleanup. Each pedal includes a hand-written card listing the specific transistors used.
Dale metal-film resistors and WIMA capacitors complement the vintage transistors. Hand-stamped serial number faceplate.
