Cranked Champ-style overdrive with exceptional touch sensitivity and volume knob cleanup.
The Small Speaker Overdrive captures the honky, saturated drive of a cranked Fender Champ through a discrete transistor circuit. Low to medium gain range from near-clean boost with added grit to full small-amp breakup.
Exceptionally touch sensitive: glassy chime to edgy crunch with varying pick attack. Super dynamic volume knob cleanup yields full-bodied, sparkling clean tones rather than thin or slightly crunchy sounds. Works best first in the chain with no buffer before it.
Gain and Level plus unconventional High (cut/boost) and Low (boost only) EQ. Hand-built in UK using low-noise metal film resistors, PET film capacitors, Alpha pots, and Neutrik jacks. Top-mounted jacks.
9VDC only (no battery option). True bypass.
