Black Mountain Drive

The Black Mountain Crunch Drive captures the midrange snarl and growl of those metal panel British amps that came out just after the plexi era. Purposefully imbalanced clipping diodes deliver vintage tone with new dimensions of flexibility.

This giant stack-based crunch drive can do simple crunch enhancement or full aggressive British amp character. The EQ is voiced for that natural, amp-like crunch texture rather than processed-sounding distortion.

Runs on 9-18V for variable feel and headroom. At lower voltages it compresses slightly; higher voltages provide stiffer response. The sound references Permission to Land-era tones and that post-plexi British growl.

Built in Athens, Georgia with premium components. Enclosure measures 4.39" x 2.34" x 1.06". True bypass with 5-year warranty to original owner.
