The Locust is a very high-gain distortion/fuzz for wall-of-sound genres: shoegaze, noise, doom, sludge, and stoner metal. Two silicon transistor gain stages follow a high-impedance JFET frontend.
Mid-scooping complex filter with two depth modes via toggle: aggressive swarm-like growl or absolute guttural destruction. Volume, Gain, and Tone controls.
V1.5 features top-mount jacks and SMT layout. 9VDC center-negative only—other voltages void warranty. Made in Montreal, Canada. Currently retired.
