HomeBrew Electronics (H.B.E.) was founded by Joel Weaver and his wife Andrea in Arizona. After years as an amp tech and guitarist, Weaver started building pedals part-time until taking unexpectedly large orders at NAMM 2002 turned it into a full-time operation. Every pedal is handmade, one at a time.

The Psilocybe is a phase shifter designed to recreate classic sounds from 60s psychedelia through 70s funk to 80s rock. It excels at traditional phaser tones rather than extreme modulation effects.

Regen and Speed knobs handle the core modulation parameters. Shift 1 toggles between a mellow vintage voicing and full-frequency phase. Shift 2 switches between triangle wave (classic phaser) and sine wave (more vibrato-like). The combination of knobs and switches covers a wide range of classic textures.
