TS808 Tubescreamer (Tamura Mod)

Ibanez is a Japanese guitar and accessory manufacturer owned by Hoshino Gakki. The Tube Screamer was designed by Susumu Tamura at Maxon in 1979 and became the most influential overdrive pedal in history.

This version incorporates modifications specified by Susumu Tamura himself, the engineer who designed the original Tube Screamer circuit in 1979. The Tamura Mod applies his personal refinements to the classic circuit.

A rare opportunity to hear the designer's own vision of what the Tube Screamer should sound like. Component and circuit changes reflect decades of Tamura's experience since the original design.
