TS808DX Tube Screamer

Ibanez is a Japanese guitar and accessory manufacturer owned by Hoshino Gakki. The Tube Screamer was designed by Susumu Tamura at Maxon in 1979 and became the most influential overdrive pedal in history.

The TS808DX pairs the classic TS808 circuit with an independent boost section. A toggle switch places the boost before or after the overdrive: pre-boost pushes the TS harder for more saturation, post-boost adds volume for solos.

The boost knob controls the amount of gain added. Standard TS808 Drive, Tone, and Level controls handle the overdrive section. Two footswitches allow independent control of each circuit. Made in Japan.
