Divaricator
Bass tone toolbox with 4th-order variable crossover and three exciters. Preserves lows while enhancing highs.
The Iron Ether Divaricator is a versatile 'tone toolbox' for bassists using effects. 4th-order variable crossover splits signal into high and low bands, processing highs through any combination of three 'exciters' that enhance different sonic aspects.
Low frequencies pass through directly to preserve bass without muddiness or cancellation. Use to enhance signal, sculpt tone, generate harmonics, split frequencies to separate amps, or insert effects that would normally cut bass.
Designed in collaboration with engineer Don Stavely. $235. Handmade in Portland, OR. Each unit individually machine-engraved and painted by hand.
